Today’s spot of the day is the porcelain city, also known as Limoges. Its history has led to an extraordinary present-day of growth and success.

From Rivers to Prosperity

If you can imagine walking through Limoges for a day, what would the aged building structures say? I’m certain they would have a lot to tell; a beautiful history birthed from a land that started with just hills and a river.

According to history, Limoges was just land that was eventually inhabited by Roman Settlers. Over time, buildings were built and businesses grew. The city eventually became quite prosperous and rich many centuries later, thanks to its residents. Also, the discovery of kaolin also added to Limoges’ growth, eventually starting the porcelain industry.
