A Frengle is a designer dog breed designed in the United States. They are a cross between a purebred Beagle and a French Bulldog.
Frengle fans often refer to them as one of the calmest dog breeds. They make the best pets for children, singles, families, and people living in different-sized apartments. If you have other pets, a Frengle is a perfect addition to the family. They are as comfortable playing in a small room as they are in the park or yard.
Their Temperament
The Frengle is predominantly calm, social, intelligent, playful, friendly, and stubborn. You can expect to have an easy time potty training this dog breed. They also have no problem learning new tricks. Because they are alert, they make for good watchdogs too.

Health Issues
Frengles are small and easy to manage. They need plenty of exercise to stay healthy, so you need to provide an active life for your furry friend. There are a few health problems that are common in this dog breed. Some of them include;
- Eye conditions
- Patellar luxation
- Beagle dwarfism
- Intervertebral disk disease
- Hip dysplasia
- Allergies
- Ear infections
- Von Willebrand disease
None of these conditions are guaranteed to ail the Frengle. A Frengle’s coat can range from short and fine to long and rough. This means that grooming will not be a hustle; you can easily get it done at home. You will also need to wash and comb the pup’s fur once or twice a week for best hygiene practices.
