The city of Manhattan Beach is located on the Pacific coast in southwestern Los Angeles County, California, United States, south of El Segundo, and north of Hermosa Beach. 35,200 people are estimated to live there.

The Travel Channel named this beach the 9th Sexiest Beach on Earth. But while the locals are gorgeous, this is due to the sandy beaches themselves. In the surrounding 2.1 square miles, you’ll find some of California’s cleanest beaches.

Manhattan Beach is a great place to live if you want to be close to Los Angeles but don’t want to live near the city’s busy pace. There are less than 30 miles between the two cities, so you’re only a short drive away. Crime is extremely rare by comparison as well.
