Fayetteville, North Carolina, has a lot to offer. You can explore any of the hidden gems mentioned below and beat the heat.

Carver’s Falls

The Falls are located in a forest named after Samuel Carver, who was gifted the 3.098yards of land from King George II of England in 1735. A milhouse was found on the property that was used to mill grain.

The power for the mill was produced by the waters diverted into a canal from Carver’s Creek. The millhouse can still be seen today during some of the zipline runs.

Carver’s Falls is the habitat of many rare plants, flowers and trees. The flora found in its ecosystem is unique as it is native to both coastal swamps and mountains.
