- There is a German-style beer garden at the Hauptmarkt that hosts live music every day. The Aktual club is a popular nightclub with DJs playing all sorts of genres and guests from all over Europe.
- You can enjoy some leisure time in its many gardens or explore the city’s various museums, like the Max Planck Institute for Foreign Cultural Studies.

I spent time in Nurnberg back in the 1960’s when I was in the U.S. Army and I loved it and had a ball at the October fest. It is true: the people there are all friendly and the beer was great; as well as the castles and churches too. I wish I was still there living among the friendly people.

There used to be an amazing fountain in the Nuremberg town square. We wonder why it was never rebuilt.

I lived in Germany from June 1979 – july 1983 in Ludwigsberg. I loved visiting Nuremberg. Such a beautiful city, especially around Christmas time. This is a city that was rich in history and culture. I bought many wonderful souvenirs, some of which I have lost over the years . The food was absolutely delicious. I would love to visit Germany some day again. My daughter was born in 1980 in nearby Bad Canstatt. Such wonderful memories.
